My favorite skin products I’m using right now .
I go through stages in my beauty regime, I love mixing things up and trying new products,but for the past couple of months I’ve really been struggling with bad breakouts (especially around my chin and jaw-line) I think this is mostly stress related break outs,in the past month we’ve moved houses (I had 4 days to pack up our entire home) Ryan has been so busy at work,traveling a lot and I’ve been trying to juggle kids,home and my relationship,let’s just say it’s been a tough past few months! And boy am I glad it’s over!!
I tried every single product recommended to me for my skin, generally I have a very sensitive / dry skin ( so hard to find gentle skin products) after spending wayyyy too much money and still left feeling dehydrated and sensitive , I finally found something that’s changed my skin forever, i think I’m hooked.
Let me give you a little insight about this product;
@simplybeesa natural range made from Fynbos beeswax,propolis& honey,mixed with essential oils. This means it’s “sensitive skin” friendly with no harmful added ingredients.
What is propolis you may ask? Propolis is thought to have antibacterial,antiviral,antifungal,anti-inflammatory properties. Propolis will assist in balancing, healing and soothing problematic skin. It also accelerates the rate of cell growth and decongest pores.
I came across this range while researching natural healing skin solutions, best of all is this range is made locally – I love supporting local brands! So I started by getting the following products, and my skin has never been better.
1. Propolis serum
I apply this serum twice a day after cleansing,all you need is two squirts and gently massage onto you’re face and neck area. I love the smell, it’s sooooo good and it feels younfeeling and looking refreshed and glowing. It’s recommended to only use it at night before bed as it’s quite oily,but when my skin feels extra sensitive and dehydrated, I use it morning and evening.
2. Gel cleanser
This gel cleanser is made with tea tree oil, and is suitable for highly sensitive,inflamed or acne-affected skin.
3. Daily moisturizer
I got this for every day use,when I’m not using the propolis serum,I apply a small amount of the daily moisturizer. It’s soft and creamy texture without leaving you feeling sticky or too oily.
4. Body butter
something I’ve learnt from my mom, moisturizing is so important to keep your skin feeling and looking great, I love the @simplybeesa body butter.
They have so many other great products I’d still love to try, and they do a beautiful “mom and baby” range too, I’ll certainly be ordering some more products for testing soon.
