What weekends are made of…

We had such a great weekend, usually our weekends are jam-packed with braais with friends, or we traveling somewhere, but this weekend was the total opposite, we went with the ‘no plan plan ‘ and it was the best weekend. Aron learnt to ride his “big boy” bicycle, I had a little girls breakfast on Saturday morning.

We had a beautiful day on the beach on Sunday with the boys, and Ryan took Aron for a surf. We got home and Ryan decided to make the most incredible brunch on the gas braai – eggs, leftover braai meat, toast and halloumi, then we all had a little afternoon siesta… I mean… wow! I realized how much easier it has become with the boys, it’s been tough with two very busy boys, but we’ve realized how the boys are finally starting to enjoy playing together, Ashley is getting bigger and he just loves following his big brother ( a little scary sometimes) but they started playing together and keeping each other entertained – we never thought we would get to this stage, but we’ve made it!! Both kids alive and we are still sane ( because of wine) ha ha. Raising kids ain’t easy mamas, we all know that now.  Feeling refreshed and ready to start the new week. I’ve been planning Ryan’s 40th birthday party for this weekend coming , and I’ve got my entire family coming this week, I just love having them all here.

Anyway, here some pictures of our weekend, hope you all had a relaxed Sunday!
